Tareq Hasan | Hi I just recently purchases and I'm a little bit confused about the Edit page. I have the plugin installed and am configuring now. So I made a post off the front end. And I added the 'Edit' page that contains the shortcode to my menu as a button. When I goto the post I want to edit, I click the Edit Page (from the menu bar), and I get the 'I don't know how to edit this post, I don't have the form ID' error (I have checked to make sure that the proper form is selected in the post's WPUF metabox). However if I look up to my wordpress admin bar, and click the Edit Post Button (which used to bring me to my wordpress back end admin edit - which i prefer it to), then I can edit the post on the front end. It seems WPUF has replaced my backend edit button in the admin bar? But either way, my users will never see that admin bar right? So they won't be able to edit. Please help. Confused. |

Mahi | Check these steps: 1. Make sure you selected your edit page from admin->User Frontend->General Options 2. Check admin->User Frontend-> Dashboard – Users can edit post? = yes 3. admin->User Frontend->General Options – Override the post edit link – set = No, now as admin you can edit page like before from backend. If you set yes, then it force you to edit from front-end 4. Users can edit post from their Dashboard. |
