towhid Hi there, I have a custom post type (Plugin Types) with custom fields (Plugin ACF) that works with wpuf in frontoffice it creates and edits perfectly. But when I modify one custom post, it loops and creates thousands of custom post types based on the last one thus crashing my server. I deactivated your plugin and it seems to come from WPUF :( Please help, thanks, Olivier

Hello Oliver,

Try to disable load script option and see what happen. To disable the settings please navigate to User Frontend->Settings-> General Options Tab->Load Scripts = (Unmark)Load scripts/styles in all pages.

Please let me know the result.

Thank you 🙂

Hello Towhid,

Nothing happens unfortunetaly. I had some custom post types who didn’t have a form attached to them so I deleted them. But still I have the same problem…

Hello Oliver,

Can I get a screenshot of the custom post types? What does this custom post type do?

Thanks

Hello Oliver,

I have looked up the site frontend and backend and I realized I need to clear more about the plan you are going to accomplish with custom post type, ACF and WPUF.

Thanks

I remember having encountered this same loop issue using ‘Pods’ framework to create a content type.

Towid, do you think there is an issue because there is a PDF custom field for the CPT that is not in the wpuf form ?

Hi Olivier 😉
I didn’t solve it yet,
I am simply evaluating another frontend solution. Something that hopefuly will be more mature and better documented.

Hello Olivier,

Make sure you have properly registered a custom post type. I have register a custom post type and assign a post form. I have also edit that custom post type post several times from the backend but it is not creating lots of post.

My suggestion will be register a simple custom post type and see what happen.

Thanks
