We have been looking for something exactly like this for our BuddyPress sites, however we would like this to function within the BuddyPress Groups. Each Group being able to manage their own projects, but keeping project information, tasks, and milestone available only to those who are members of the group. There really is no good solution out there. This would fit the bill if you wanted to try to make it BuddyPress capable.
I am not a big fan of Buddypress, may be never tried much seriously. There are lots of room for improvements right now (without buddypress). So buddypress support is not coming soon, unless some picks it up and contribute.
Understood. However, this plugin would be ideal for BuddyPress since division of users is already established within a group, having a project management tool that fits right into its structure would be ideal. Your plugin also works well for WordPress only site. Unfortunately, having another user-dividing functionality (1. BuddyPress Groups 2. Project participants) that is different from each other on the same site would be hard to manage who goes where.
