Tareq Hasan Bought the dokan theme 6 months ago, spent 6 months hiring developers to do what you didn't do ( although you advertised complete wordpress marketplace). Spent more than 500$ for developers, now you stop support for theme, you released a plugin which basically is fully bugged, i don't see any replies for support, i don't see this working on any woocommerce theme since it messes up all the themes i used, u don't reply back, you don't reply on emails and most of all u don't give back refunds. I have already contacted many local shops in my country cause i was hoping that this plugin was going to be better, people are waiting for me to show them the project so they can join and start a complete marketplace. Now i look like a fool to them, i don't have a working project.. basically i have nothing and the best thing? u don't give refunds on your fully bugged project.. Now tell me how i should feel..

Can you please mention what problems do you have? We are continually adding features to support a multivendor marketplace. I agree that support is slow, but we are trying our best.

Hope that you will mention your problems and we will try to resolve them.

I agree with Christopher, it’s completely unfair and unacceptable. The Dokan theme no longer works with the latest version of woo commerce and you tell us there will be no more updates to the theme and that we should delete it and use the plugin. You do reliase that I along with other members have invested a lot of money paying developers to make custom changes to the theme and by deleting it and installing the plugin, all that money goes down the drain and the changes disappear.

I too am furious with Dokan. I have asked questions in other threads and I waited 5 days for a response that quite frankly, did not answer the majority of my questions and was less than satisfactory. It takes support days to answer questions and when you do answer, the response is less than helpful.

So far my experience has been all round disappointing. We are trying to build a business here, we cannot afford to wait several days for a response about such a minor issue that should have been resolved asap.

I also find it completely and utterly ludicrous that you have sold us all a theme only to discard it and announce that there will be no future updates. Are you actually serious? The current theme is not compatible with the latest version of woo commerce and your not going to fix that or provide any future updates? It’s easy to say the plugin is the future but not to us that have paid LARGE amounts of money making custom changes to the current theme.

Now I need to go and pay even more money to my developer so they can manually update the site and make it compatible with the newest version of woo commerce. Tell me, what do you expect us who have paid developers a lot of money to make custom changes to the site to do?

@Christopher, send it to info@wedevs.com

@Paul
, I guess you misunderstood a bit about the changes. And my apology on the support response time, we are trying to be more active on this matter.

Did you changed the theme a lot? If you did, how would you update the theme once a new version is available? Are you using a child theme, that’s ok.

Now, if you customized the theme, you wouldn’t be able to update even if a new version arrives. As now we moved to plugin, that means we only transferred the main functionalities over the plugin, so that it can share the features across all other themes. If you notice, we released the plugin with the theme itself, bundled. Because, we kept all the theme features in the theme and moved the plugin related features to the plugin. So basically theme new plugin+theme actually behaves like the previous theme. Just install them both, and you get the updated Dokan without losing any features at all. So I don’t believe all your effort is lost.

Ok fair enough. I’m just going to have to talk to my web developer and figure out the best way to go about moving forward. However, I’m still having issues with parent pages and still waiting on a response in this thread: http://wedevs.com/support/topic/cannot-create-parent-pages/
