Hidden field for a category

| towhid | Hi, how can I use a hidden field for a (second) category, when I use a dropdown-list for a category-selection? When I tried this, only the value of the hidden field was written in the category of the post, but not the selection of the dropdown-list. Thanks Ralf |

| Hello Ralf, There is some limitation of this kind of work. The plan you going to implement is kind of different regarding this of scenario. The plan also can be executed, but in an alternative way- which is, you can provide a user for a choice of two or three category with selection term filed in the form post. With that selection of category, the post will be assign in that selected category. There are no need to use a hidden field. Actually hidden field feature is not use for this kind of work.
