how to change seller id or store url

| towhid | I see that others have the same problem. Here's how it goes: 1. User A comes along and decides he wants a store. So he signs up as User A and makes the mistake of putting in something undesired, like www-userA-com as his initial store url. He later figures out his mistake but User and and my store are both stuck. Forevermore according to https://wedevs.com/support/topic/edit-shop-url/ and other Dokan info http://docs.wedevs.com/change-seller-store-url-dokan/ we are stuck with his store web address ending in www-userA-com instead of anything more desireable. Now, I actually have a user who just did this. She put her own domain in as the store name (initial) and she's changed it to something else, but no matter, her store domain remains www-sellerA-com even though her store is called something entirely different. This needs a fix. OK--so http://docs.wedevs.com/change-seller-store-url-dokan/ tells us that we can change the "thistext" portion of mysite.com/[thistext]/[seller-name] We NEED to change the [seller-name] portion of the url for an existing seller. Since the [seller-name] is not the same as the User Name (that we all know is unchangable) this should be possible. So, please give me the how-to. I don't want to go digging around in the SQL database doing this. Thanks! |

| I disabled the url field as temporary site so users cannot enter url. But I agree, this needs a fix guys. Help us out here. Maybe have a validation to prevent www. Or allow admin to edit in dokan dashboard? |

| Probably best to allow admin to edit in the admin dashboard. I ended up going into the sql database and editing it. That is not a solution for most marketplace owners. Please provide a good fix, wedevs team. Thank you. |
