Sekander Badsha Hello, I would like to know how I can enable the product variables like colors and sizes for Dokan vendors? Maybe it would be sufficient to use premade colors and sizes that the admin has set up. We are thinking about a fashion niche marketplace that needs these info for products - as I cannot create a new product for each size! Also is there no way to set stock quantities yet? Please let me know! Best regards, Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,
When you create product page, enter the initial details and click create product, the page remains same; but if look a bit closely, you will see that there is some more options like options, inventory, shipping.
You can use that.

If you change the product type from the right in the edit tab, you will get to add the variations to that product.

Let me know if you need more detailed instruction. Thank you 🙂

Hello Sekander,

thank you for that explanation. Unluckily the stock quantities will not update in the editor (always go away when I save the product) and I cannot combine the variables like size and color??? So on the frontend there is not even a checkout button anymore and no option selection at all.

Could you please point me to a link with a detailed documentation about this? Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Best regards, Thorsten

Alright… I solved this problem! It was partly related to language misunderstandings!

It is not intuitive for the seller to create a product in these steps. Maybe you could show the header tabs right away in future updates?

Sorry to add another issue in this regard.. the product quantities are not visible in the editor form! Even when updated correctly, they are invisible! This is a critical bug that still needs to be fixed!

How should a seller know his product quantity when it is not visible?

Best regards, Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,
You must enter the “SKU” and “Stock Quantity” and select “manage stock” in the inventory tab

and then you will be able to see the stock quantity in the products list.

Hi,
It also works without defining a SKU.
But: Hook at manage Stock and setting a Stock Qty, then save, doesn’t really save.
The procedure must be done twice. Then the quantity is saved.
Is this a woocommerce issue?
Regards
Martin

@sekander: your solution is in the backend, right? On product level? So this is not something the vendor can do?

Hello Martin,
Please allow me a couple of hours to check and reproduce the issue.

@Tor
Nope. All the screenshots I provided is from the frontend and sellers can do it from front.
