Nayem Is it possible to import task lists into Project Manager Pro? I understand that the fields must map appropriately. It can be easier to sketch out whole projects in office software, create a csv instead of entering everything on the web. Can you import be used on the sub task add on?

Hello Elizabeth,

Right now it is not possible to import task list in project manager. But we have already finished our work for an add-on to import-export for project manager. Hope we will release this add on very soon. Please keep patience.

Thank you 🙂

At what cost?

WP Project is a decent program but with limitations that are starting to make me reconsider the value of my purchase.

I cannot add fields, I cannot import….

Project Management tools to be genuinely useful need to be flexible and scalable at a basic level so they can fill the various needs of the customers. I have not problem with additional costs for more complicated elements like front-end or invoicing, but I hope that the functionalies I cite earlier are a part of the core product soon.

Hello Elizabeth,

I can understand you. Adding new feature is depends on the customer demand and priority. At the present time we are working with some feature. Hope in our next release these are available.

You asked for the cost of import-export add-on. I am really sorry to say that i can not tell you anything about the cost because it is not release yet. I hope you will understand me. We had lots of feature request from lots of customer. But we have to work with those feature which is most important and most needed.

Thank you 🙂

Any update on adding an import mechanism for tasks.

Copying another project doesn’t work well if you don’t want all the baggage (comments, files etc) from another project.

Thank you!
