Tareq Hasan Support, I have several questions regarding how to edit and redirect different types of posts. I have two different types of posts registered users can submit, "Blog Post" and "News Story". A "Blog Post" is original content written and submitted by the user. A "Blog Post" will have a Normal Wordpress URL. I want visitors of the site to be able to click on the blog title, image or "Read More" on the homepage or category page and take them to the full story. A "News Story" is an excerpt taken from another site and submitted by registered users. A "New Story" will have a Custom URL. I want visitors of the site to be able to click on the blog title, image or "Read More" and be taken to Source URL in a new browser window. How do I get "Blog Posts" and "News Stories" submitted through Frontend User Pro to follow the default word limit I have set for the homepage and category page? I have the the default word limit set to 75. When I login as the Admin where do I go to edit the body of "Blog Posts" and "New Stories"? I noticed when I logged in as the Admin and went to "All Posts" and clicked on "Edit" for a "News Story" post that was submitted through Frontend User Pro the body of the post was blank. In the "News Story" form I use and "Excerpt" field for users to type or copy & paste into. Below is the login credentials if you need to look at the site and Frontend User Pro settings Thanks you for your assistance. Stephen 1-800-Politics.com

Hello Stephen,

I am sorry for being late in the party. The support topic was assigned to our support staff but it seemed complicated for them, so I will try to answer your questions.

A “Blog Post”:
So you can create a normal form as usual, with a post title and the post body and users can submit posts and see the post without any problem I guess.

“News Story”:
I think what you are trying to do is to create a post as “Link” post format. More on post format is here. It’s the same blog post, but it really depends on your theme. The link blog post is that kind of post that they will have a post title and an external link. That external link will be linked to the post title and if anyone clicks the link, they will be forwarded.

So, again it’s a theme feature and nothing our plugin can do to behave these posts (blog posts or news story) what it supposed to do. It depends entirely on your theme. You can search for themes that have post format support and there are plenty of them. What our plugin does is just to enable you to create those posts. Showing these are upon your theme.

So I would suggest you to hire someone and configure your theme using our plugin to behave that way.

My apology for being late again.
