Keith | Hello, I have setup a frontend edit and add product page that contains a checkbox section where you select which woocommerce categories you want the product to be affiliated with. Adding categories to the product works fine both while editing and creating a product. However, when I have an already existing product and wish to remove it from a category by unchecking that box in the edit form this change is not saved after submitting the form. The product is still affiliated with that category and going back to the edit form shows that checkbox checked once again. Thanks for any help!!! |

Mahi | Hello Keith, Because that product was not create by wpuf form therefore not assigned with any wpuf form id. So, it just doesn’t works. Solution 1: For this problem with older posts, one thing you need to do. If you go the those posts edit screen in backend, you’ll see a meta box “WPUF Form”, select the form that should be used to edit the form. Solution 2: http://wedevs.com/support/topic/editing-previous-posts-from-free-version/#post-2740 |

Keith | Although that does seem like a viable solution, it did not solve the issue for me =/ It seems that I already had the correct/only form available selected in the meta box “WPUF Form” for each product. Even if I create a new product that uses the WPUF form and try to edit the categories they still remain unchanged once I hit update. Something that might help narrow the search is that if I go in the backend and edit the product’s categories it does implement the changes to the product, but not when I try to edit them on the frontend. Sorry for the issue, and let me know if you need anymore details! Thank you |

Keith | Are the edit and add product pages supposed to have the correct form assigned in the WPUF Form meta box? The edit page only has the [wpuf_edit] shortcode, but even when I change its WPUF Form box to have the correct form assigned it still does not allow removal of categories. |

Keith | Thank you for the feedback! Any progress is great at this point. I see that on the backend the removing of categories is now working, thank you for that fix. The link to the editing form for products is here http://speechtrader.apaxdev.com/speech-dashboard/ just click the edit button next to one of the products. Thanks! |
