George Hi, I have a problem with my posts created from the frontend. When I copy something from a word text or a website, my paste results seems as html code generating garbage code of text formating.

Yes. Specially in this example I copied a table from microsoft Excell and paste it into my text field. Before the table added I see that format code in my window.

table { }.font5 { color: black; font-size: 8pt; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; font-family: Tahoma; }.font6 { color: black; font-size: 8pt; font-weight: 700; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; font-family: Tahoma; }td { padding: 0px; color: windowtext; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; font-family: Arial; vertical-align: bottom; border: medium none; white-space: nowrap; }.xl65 { font-size: 14pt; border: 0.5pt solid windowtext; }

George, Microsoft word or Excell Sort their style in a Different Way. When you are doing something in word or Excell, it use inline Style, Which stays in the page. When you are copy pasting it, It comes along with the data. Its been a Problem since the Birth of Text area Based posting. Here is Something to Solve your problem. In the Right corner of Your Rich Text Area Editor, There is a small Icon called “Show/Hide Kitchen Sink”. It contain a Some Features to help you out in several situation. Check the image below,

Kitchen Sink

I marked that icon. And When you click on that, A list of Extra features comes below. There is a Small Icon with a “W” on it, Marked on the Picture. That special Feature is for Microsoft word. Click on in, and a new window will come up. In that window, Paste your direct copy from Microsoft Word. Rich Text Editor will Remove the Junk code and Pull through the Origin text to the editor, Keeping the formatting Unchanged. Please Give it a Shot and Let us know if you are still facing the problem. Usually it should do it.
