Static page change front-page.php name

| towhid | Hi, I also would like to set up a static page and i find out that i have to change front-page.php to front-page1.php, but i really dont understand that kind of stuff. So can you maybe tell me how do i change the title of front-page.php to front-page1.php? I hope you can help me! Greetings |

| Hi, I would like to change the home page to an other static page, because when i change it now i does not work nothing happens. And i have read in this forum ( https://wedevs.com/support/topic/set-another-page-as-the-homepage/ ) that you need tot change the front-page.php and than you can change home page with static page. I really hope you can help me! |

| Hello Niels, After rename the front-page.php to something like front-page1.php did you change the settings page accurately as “Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page” by changing “Front page displays” to “A static page > Front page > My page”? Thanks |
