stock management for variation

Nayem	hi. How does stock management for variable product works? I understand that each variation has it's own stock, price, dimensions management. But there is still the "stock" tab that has quantity, enable stock management, etc. what this tab does when the product is variable? Does it only works if nothing is set in variable product?

Nayem	Hello Sordi, When the product type is variable the stock option in the inventory tab will not work. For variable product there is stock manage option in the variation tab. Stock option of the inventory tab will work for simple product. Thanks.

Nayem	Hello Sordi, I am sorry for misunderstanding. We can not hide inventory tab. Because In the variation tab if you select manage stock option and leave the stock quantity box blank then it will get the parent stock quantity.
