dildwild | I'm using free version, but I need multiple form. So I'm looking pro version. when I visit demo admin, I couldn't find post map to other user option. There is only default post owner.. It seems user can't post in default author unless they log out. 1) I want to make logged in user post in other author's name. 2) And I expected I could make different setting for each form. For example, one form's post owner is original poster, and other form's post owner is admin. 3) is there any option to allow user choose post anonymously? With pro version are these possible? by customize or by future update? |

dildwild | thank you for your fast response. if you can provide solution of 1 and 2 ), it doesn’t matter there isn’t option for 3). actually My plan is, 1) create user name ‘anonymous’ 2) create form mapped the user ‘anonymous’ (form 1) 3) create normal form (form 2) then, if user want to write anonymously, they can choose (form 1). If they want to write in their name, they can choose (form 2). my project site will have dream journal, and some dreams are embarrass to share in their own ID. So I want to give them anonymous post option. I’m thinking make “male anonymous user” and “female anonymous user”. in addition to, It would be nice that user can create private post… (It’s OK it can’t private to admin. just private to visitor is enough) sorry for my bad english. I hope I were clear enough….

Mahi | Hello dildwild, – During from creation you can assign posts under your ‘anonymus’ user . So, all guest post will be under this username – If you allow user to insert their username and email , right after submit post they will be auto registered as well. Which means their post will be under their username so, if i understand your requirements, i think you can achieve your target with WP Userfront PRO for more better idea you may read this documentation. Thank you. |

dildwild | Hello Mahi. thank you for reponse. I think I was not clear enough…. – I don’t want to allow guest post. I want ‘logged in user’ can post under other user’s name. And When user want to write anonymously if they have to log out, It will be little bit troublesome. let me try to describe my scenario. let’s say there is a user whose username is Steve. Normally Steve post under his username Steve. then he click the menu button ” post under your name” But sometime he want to post anonymous. Then he can choose to click another menu button ” post under John Doe”. It links to form mapped John doe. So he can write anonymously during he is logging in. Site has two virtual user account ‘John doe’ and ‘Jane Doe’, and have three forms – 1) form mapped to original author 2) form mapped to username’John Doe’ 3) form mapped to username’Jane Doe’. when female user want to post anonymous She can choose the ‘form 3)’ in the menu. Without logout user can choose post anonymously and can choose post under their own ID. Once user log in, user can write first post under his username, second post under ‘John doe’ or ‘Jane doe’, 3rd post under his username again. it is seamless process. This is my scenario. I think , if you provide “mapping feature solution” Like tareq said, and if I “can apply different setting to each form” this scenario is possible. I want to be clear enough to you get understand me, but English is not my first language. So I try to describe in detail as possible as I can. If so many unclear word bother you, It was not my intention, please forgive me. thank you. |

Tareq Hasan | There will be a problem when doing post mapping. The post owner will be a different user and the original user will not be able to edit that post. |
