I second the notion of Post Creation Limits. I thought that the Bainternet plugin would work with this plugin since they have a shortcode to insert on frontend forms ([in_limit][from shortcode][/in_limit]) but it only works with Gravity Forms.

Please consider this as an add-on. Until then, I guess it has to be done by hand.
