Hi,

There is no longer any javascript on the page.

The logic based around the custom taxonomie does not work, no matter what I do, it does not work. All I want is for the “Are They…” and “Gender” checboxes to show if the user selected “Animals” from the custom taxonomie listbox, and hide if they chose anything else.

I have put an additional checkbox in which asks if the user is entering an animal, and if they are to click here to enter more details, and that shows and hides the other checkboxes fine, the logic works fine on that, but does not on the custom taxonomie, whether that checkbox is there or not. I have only put that checkbox there to fix the issue with the custom taxonomie logic.

Thanks

Shaun

To show you what I mean, I have set up a simple check box that a user tick if they are adding an animal, in order to add more details. When a user tick this, it shows the additional 2 fields (Are they, and Gender). The conditional logic works fine on this, if the box is ticked, they are shown, if it isn’t, then they remain hidden.

I need the same thing to happen when a user selects Animal from the list, rather than needing to tick another box. If you look on the site, I have set up the form to have logic for both the listbox and the new checkbox, to show that it is not working. The checkbox logic is fine, but it just ignores what is selected in the listbox, the custom taxonomies. This tells me that your plugin is not working correctly when trying to use conditional logic against custom taxonomies.

It would be great if we could get the plugin to work as intended, without having to add additional, unnecessary fields as a workaround.

Thanks

Shaun

Hi,

I can see by your screenshots that problem exists on yours as well.

I only want the “Are They…” to show when the person selects “Animals” from the categories listbox, but instead, it is always showing. For example, if someone selected “Mobile Phone” from the list box, I would want the Are They… section to be hidden, as it is not required for that category.

Let me know if you want me to explain in further detail.

Thanks

Shaun

Hi,

The javascript has been removed. I was trying to hide the div based on the dropdown using Javascript, as it is taking too long to fix something that should just work.

It still does not work with the javascript removed, and it is hard to hide with javascript anyway, as you don’t give the divs id’s.

I do not want to put the code for the listbox items in a public forum, have you got an email I can send it to?

How long do you think this will take?

Thank you.

Shaun

Hi,

Any luck with this yet? I can see that the issue is still there? We are just waiting for this issue with your plugin to be fixed for us to launch the site, so any progress updates would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Shaun

Hi,

I have tried it on your test site, and the same thing happens, so it is not working as it should be. I have put a screenshot below.

I have tried setting the field required status to yes and no, still no difference. The field shows no matter what is selected from the category drop down.

Please advise on a fix for this.

Thanks

Hi, thank you for your reply, please find the image linked below.

As it is set, the checkboxes are always showny, even when the dropdown that the condition is set on hasnt been selected. I also have some radio buttons based on the same logic, and do the same thing.
