No I am using the form to just edit and yes the form does have the post content field. I am able to edit the post for the title, tags, category, featured image and so on but not the post content. I have only tested the plugin in development on my local computer.

I see it is now working and I understand how it works now but this means I will have to update every post to be able edit from the front using the form I have setup.

I only have one form. So I do not know why I have this problem. I have selected from the Meta box the form and saved. I still get the same error message.

I have the edit post page as follows.

• Post Title: Edit
• Post Slug: edit
• Shortcode: [wpuf_edit]
• On the settings page I have selected the edit page.

Am I still missing something. I had used the free version of the plugin before using the pro version. Could that be a possible reason. Is there some data not syncing ?

I have done what you just said and now when I go to edit the post. I get the following message.

I don’t know how to edit this post, I don’t have the form ID

I have disabled all plugins and I still get the same results.

This is what I have.

• New form created with post title, post content and category.
• New page with the shortcode [wpuf_form id=”1463″]
• I have that new page selected under the plugin settings for Edit Page.
• I go to the dashboard page that I have setup and press the edit link on the post I want to edit.
• I then get the page I suppose to land on but the form is empty and the button is saying ‘Submit’ not ‘Update’
• The web address bar shows that I am on the edit page with the id of the post. domain.com/edit-post/?pid=1451&_wpnonce=38b6b685e2

Have I missed something or done something wrong ?

Please help.
