No i did not do that yet because i dont know how to rename front-page.php to front-page1.php, can you tell me how to do that?

I would like to change the home page to an other static page, because when i change it now i does not work nothing happens. And i have read in this forum ( https://wedevs.com/support/topic/set-another-page-as-the-homepage/ ) that you need tot change the front-page.php and than you can change home page with static page.

I really hope you can help me!
