Thank you for posting this Jason!!! I had already given up on my project because of this…this step definitely needs documentation and a guide of suggestions.

Would you love to have these small changes standard on the next update for Dokan. I see many other users wanting their sites to look neat and consistent and its a bit hard to be making so many changes and digging for the how to instructions in the forum.

this is actually from the Dokan demo site and it shows the problems I am
trying to avoid.
1. Pictures aren’t hardcropped to the same size.
2. The Pricing field needs to be maybe 2 lines so that any sale prices can
fit nicely and not be out of alignment.
Hope you understand that we need to find a good solution because the
appearance of the site is what customers will judge how professional our
site is.

This is a great idea. Jason your site looks great. Has a very professional look. I’m still working away at my site and will post a screenshot soon and I’m up to sorting out my payments etc. May I ask if you decided on chained or parallel payments? (Leaning towards parallel at the moment…I am concerned about how refunds are handled and legality of being the one paid for the transaction in chained).

I went through and deactivated one by one to see which one it was that was incompatible with Dokan and it is SEO WordPress that was causing DRAFT/Online error and not saving when going to Update Product.

I got confused with this DRAFT feature working because I realised that when I press update Product, before and after togling between DRAFT & ONLINE, the information on the description and product name disappears. This was causing the updated product to lose the info previously loaded. Whats going on here?

Ok having the user set up each price from a drop down is going to be a tedious task especially since for the majority its not going to change much. What I was hoping is that users can set up a Shipping Profile saved in their Shop Settings that they can just add from their list of values e. their Shipping for Clothing etc etc.
Can you plse add this list of would love to have as I note that sites such as Etsy have set up Shipping Profiles for users.

In the meantime is there any way I can replace the current drop-down list of countries with a a free text field???
This would be a great fix as it will mean that users can type in whatever they like eg> “Rest of the World” or Local USA etc shipping price as well as their shipping destinations more easily.
Please look into this as it would make a HUGE difference to how this plugin works.

so I should have that ‘Draft” button removed? Otherwise Vendors will expect they can have it in draft form when in fact its online. How do I remove the Draft option?

I thought the Draft & Online options are more about the seller getting their ad correct before going ‘online’ with it rather than about giving backend permissions to allow them to publish their ads. For example if they were in the middle of add a product and they needed to get more images or info they can save it in DRAFT until they complete it and go live with ‘ONLINE”. Is this how this feature is meant to work?
