Dokan Plugin displays broken theme on stores 39914
Thorsten | Hello Nayem, thx for the Child Theme fix, but it still does not work! as the sidebar is still broken! (Shows footer widgets as well..) Does not matter.. Also I have found that in the shipping settings there is actually 2 text areas where a seller can set his terms and return policy, so that should be covered alright! |

Thorsten | Hello Nayem, please forward this webshop example to your developers for review: http://en.dawanda.com/shop/La-Mano/info This is from DaWanda.de the biggest webshop in Germany for DIY items. Just like Etsy.com but DaWanda is from Germany (EU) and therefore has the legal requirements enforced for each shop owner. Best regards, Thorsten |

Thorsten | Hello Nayem, thank you for this info.. I will wait for an official update because I am no coder and don´t want to break anything! I have also given you access to my website as requested… did you already have a chance to check out the seller store sidebar issue? Best regards, Thorsten |

Thorsten | Hello Nayem, as I am currently updating our legal termsheets, I noticed something… In the European Union it is a legal requirement that each seller needs to include his legal terms, imprint and return policy with each product that he sells in a marketplace. As you have this nice dashboard, could you please add a PDF upload and a text field for the imprint in your next update? Or 3 text fields for all. It must then show up in each sellers store and products by default. In the meantime, I will ask my tax accountant, if something else is legally required. Please note that it would not be possible to legally use Dokan in the EU if these requirements are not met. I know.. EU politics su##s! I did not make these rules 🙂 Best regards, Thorsten |

Thorsten | ah.. I have another idea.. I copy paste the code from page.php here, so you can see it … as the store.pphp from the dokan plugin is always the same, maybe you could include the new changed code here, so I just need to paste it in my file and save it??? That would be great! This is my page.php file code:

Thorsten | Hello Nayem, thank you for your answer.. I was able to create the folder in my theme structure and copy the file into it. although nothing changes so far on the frontend. In the documentation it says I just need to adjust some div to get it working, but as I am no programmer, I do not know anything about HTML so I don´t know what to change… I have downloaded the two files and would like to send them to you guys, so you could take a look at it, but here is no file upload function? Any way you could help me with this one? Best regards, Thorsten |

Dokan Plugin Translation 28596
Thorsten | Thank you for this tip.. that worked.. After I was able to see the German translations some things became clear, but I also found tons of errors in the translation and some of those critical! Like the enable sellers to access wp-admin! This was translated vice versa, so it had exactly the opposite effect! I have spend at least 5 hours on the translation now and will still be testing it in context on the front and backend… When I am sure that there are no more misunderstandings in context, I will send you the 2 files! Best regards, Thorsten |

How to create Products with Variables and stock quantity? 28595
Thorsten | Sorry to add another issue in this regard.. the product quantities are not visible in the editor form! Even when updated correctly, they are invisible! This is a critical bug that still needs to be fixed! How should a seller know his product quantity when it is not visible? Best regards, Thorsten |

Thorsten | Alright… I solved this problem! It was partly related to language misunderstandings! It is not intuitive for the seller to create a product in these steps. Maybe you could show the header tabs right away in future updates? Best regards, Thorsten |

How to create Products with Variables and stock quantity? 28576
Thorsten | Hello Sekander, thank you for that explanation. Unluckily the stock quantities will not update in the editor (always go away when I save the product) and I cannot combine the variables like size and color??? So on the frontend there is not even a checkout button anymore and no option selection at all. Could you please point me to a link with a detailed documentation about this? Maybe I am doing something wrong? Best regards, Thorsten |
