As we celebrate 10 years of weDevs, I am filled with pride for the journey we have taken together. weDevs got started as a small venture between Tareq Hasan and myself (Nizam Uddin) in 2013. It has grown into a thriving company with 20+ WordPress and SaaS products, a team of 75 people, and over 500,000 users worldwide.

But our success is not only measured by the numbers. It's also a testament to the hard work, integrity, and sacrifices of our team. We have overcome many obstacles and limitations to become a cohesive and dedicated team who can take a product from concept to delivery.

At weDevs, we believe in creating a balance between work and personal life. We celebrate our achievements with regular team-building activities, office and outdoor sports, annual tour, dine-outs and lots more.

We make sure that not only our team members but also our family members are included in our celebrations and we prioritize mental health and creating beautiful memories.

6 years back in 2017, we decided to make our family members come closer by engaging them in our Anniversary Celebration Program. We announced 18th March as weFamily Day! It's really amazing to let our family members know what we do and how. It's lovely to see our parents and child enjoy the day and share their stories.

As a company, we believe in standing by our team members, even in times of hardship. In the context of the ongoing economic unrest and challenges, we have not only maintained but increased our employees' salaries by 15% at the middle of the year to support them during difficult times.

Dokan has been leading the multi-vendor niche within WordPress since its launch in February 2014. It is powered by WooCommerce and enables you to build any type of marketplace you can think of. Digital or physical product marketplace, auction sites, booking-integrated platforms, and lots more.

Throughout the years, Dokan has remained dedicated to meeting the demands of its users and aligning with their needs.

In 2022, Dokan introduced many trendy features and modules to enhance the user experience and provide even more opportunities for success. We can assure you that Dokan is now more robust, feature-rich, and user-friendly than ever before!

Major Challenges We Solved for Dokan Users in 2022

New vendors were in trouble promoting their products in an already-established marketplace. The Dokan Product Advertising module enables vendors to advertise their featured products with ease.

B2B business owners had problems showing the price upfront. The Request for Quotation module lets customers send customized quotes on the selected products.

We introduced Apple Pay, Google Pay, MANGOPAY, and Razorpay payment gateways to make marketplace owners' journeys easier.

Marketplace owners struggled to sort out the commission system for Cash On Delivery (COD) payment gateway or other admin services. Dokan has introduced the Reverse Withdrawal system to solve this issue.

The static color of the vendor dashboard made vendors sometimes bored. We introduced “Color Palettes” which allows vendors to paint their dashboards with a variety of color palettes.

With features like menu and content restriction, profile management, subscription-based posting, membership, and user directory builder, WP User Frontend Pro has everything you need to take control of your website's content and users. You can monetize your site in the way you want.

In 2022, we made significant improvements to the plugin to better serve our users.

Our expert team brought a few major design updates in 2022. We updated the WordPress plugin icon and redesigned the WP ERP Home page, HRM Core page, CRM Core page, and Accounting Core page. These will be pushed in early 2023.

We updated the backend design of the leave request page with advanced filters.

In 2022, team weDevs continued to thrive and grow. Our focus for this year was on quality and providing our team with the ready resources they need to succeed.

I and Tareq try to support our team in all possible ways. With facilities like Gratuity and Provident Fund, this year we started adding corporate facilities and health care programs. We have increased salary by 10-15% for each of the weDevs team members in the middle of 2022 due to inflation.

At weDevs, we consider our team as a family, and we are committed to treating each member with the same care and support that we would give to our family members.

In 2022, we were proud to welcome 17 new members to the weDevs family, after carefully evaluating 1000+ candidates.

We now have a strong team of 76 members, all united in our belief in the power of teamwork.

As we come to the end of this post, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the unprecedented challenges that we have faced as a global community in 2022. From the COVID-19 pandemic to the social and political unrest, it has been a difficult and trying time for us all.
