So, scenario is – “ordering 2 different products from 2 sellers”

– what payment gateway you are using?
– Have you try to pay 1 product from 1 seller, and succeed?

I am afraid that you are slightly wrong.
WooCommerce auction plugin don’t have such feature that admin can’t bid on their own auction. Admin can bid on their own auctions (test it your self without Dokan).

anyway, as Wpgenie guys are the original developer so it would have been more easier for them to tell how to prevent admin’s to bid on their own auctions.

Our add-on just simply bring backend auction options at front-end under seller’s Dashboard. However, we will try our best to give you a solution. Just give us a little bit time.

Thank you.

Hello Fred,

I guess there is a little confusion here. Dokan Auction add-on just make a bridge between WooCommerce simple auction plugin and Dokan plugin. It doesn’t control or change any feature of WooCommerce simple auction.

The problem you states – “Owner can bid on their own auction” should be fix by original developer. Nothing to do with our add-on here.

you can find their documentations here:

we contact with them (wpgenie) before release this add-ons, but they refused to create a new plugin or provide supports dedicated to Dokan plugin. so, we created this add-on which works only as bridge between two plugins, nothing else.

Hello Neen,

Logic is most of the time sellers do not make profit from shipping. It is un ethical to take money from shipping cost.
Different sellers may use different shipping methods and cost may vary too.
as owner you should take care of your sellers, isn’t it ? 🙂

Sorry for inconvenience Jorge.

in WPUF settings area there is an option : Load scripts
Just un-tick that option and your page loading performance should be fine.

I replied same thing on your paypal dispute.

Let us know if it works for you or not.

Paypal have different policy and procedures for different countries.

I am not sure what did you mean by “PREAPPROVALS (aka PayPal standard)” ?

Mahi Mahi

Follow these:

1. Get a Paypal approved Premier/Business account
2. In side Paypal settings you can enable Express checkout (not in Dokan/WooCommerce)
3. Apply for Paypal Adaptive payments service (details:

Checkout documentations:

4. Make sure to enable Paypal Payment gateway (from WooCommerce) as well as you are going to use subscriptions feature.

Sorry to interrupt Peter.

From my view best solution is – alert your seller at first point. When a Seller going to register on your website make sure that seller knows correctly what is the scenario regarding BANK TRANSFER PROCESS.

– When Customer submit an order and choose payment method “BANK TRANSFER”, Seller also get notification email and can see what is the Payment Method is: BANK TRANSFER .

– Now, Seller can see the ORDER Status ON HOLD from Dashboard.
image: on hold status

– Then, as Admin you have to play a role here. Best way is When a customer make the payment to your bank account and confirmed with you, as admin you can change that order status to PROCESSING from admin area > WooCommerce> Order

image: processing

– Now once you marked that order as processing – your seller can see that as well from their dashboard.
image: dashboard processing

– Now, seller can prepare the product – ship and mark as completed and everything goes smoothly.

Please NOTE:: Any time admin(you) or seller can change the order status. If you (admin) or seller change order status failed/refund/cancelled then all information (data) reversed. So, all commission reversed automatically.

So, this is the only scenario i can see which will work. If you have any other idea feel free to share with us.

We really don’t want to interrupt with WooCommerce default system because then it will be very hard to maintain. We spoke with Woo Team regarding multi-vendor future with WooCommerce and seems like they are also considering to make WooCommerce more multi-vendor friendly.

Thank you.
