So, scenario is – “ordering 2 different products from 2 sellers”

– what payment gateway you are using?
– Have you try to pay 1 product from 1 seller, and succeed?

create a hidden field and put right product_type value for auction.

Sorry for inconvenience Jorge.

in WPUF settings area there is an option : Load scripts
Just un-tick that option and your page loading performance should be fine.

Paypal have different policy and procedures for different countries.

I am not sure what did you mean by “PREAPPROVALS (aka PayPal standard)” ?

Mahi Mahi

Follow these:

1. Get a Paypal approved Premier/Business account
2. In side Paypal settings you can enable Express checkout (not in Dokan/WooCommerce)
3. Apply for Paypal Adaptive payments service (details: http://docs.wedevs.com/get-api-app-id/)

Checkout documentations: http://docs.wedevs.com/category/add-ons/dokan-add-ons/paypal-adaptive-payments/

4. Make sure to enable Paypal Payment gateway (from WooCommerce) as well as you are going to use subscriptions feature.

Sorry to interrupt Peter.

From my view best solution is – alert your seller at first point. When a Seller going to register on your website make sure that seller knows correctly what is the scenario regarding BANK TRANSFER PROCESS.

– When Customer submit an order and choose payment method “BANK TRANSFER”, Seller also get notification email and can see what is the Payment Method is: BANK TRANSFER .

– Now, Seller can see the ORDER Status ON HOLD from Dashboard.
image: on hold status

– Then, as Admin you have to play a role here. Best way is When a customer make the payment to your bank account and confirmed with you, as admin you can change that order status to PROCESSING from admin area > WooCommerce> Order

image: processing

– Now once you marked that order as processing – your seller can see that as well from their dashboard.
image: dashboard processing

– Now, seller can prepare the product – ship and mark as completed and everything goes smoothly.

Please NOTE:: Any time admin(you) or seller can change the order status. If you (admin) or seller change order status failed/refund/cancelled then all information (data) reversed. So, all commission reversed automatically.

So, this is the only scenario i can see which will work. If you have any other idea feel free to share with us.

We really don’t want to interrupt with WooCommerce default system because then it will be very hard to maintain. We spoke with Woo Team regarding multi-vendor future with WooCommerce and seems like they are also considering to make WooCommerce more multi-vendor friendly.

Thank you.

Hello stephane,

Its conflicting since WooCommerce updated recently.

1. Open dokan-shipping.php file

2. Find below code and either delete or comment out :

if ( ! is_array( $shipping_method ) || !in_array( 'dokan_per_product', $shipping_method ) ) {
             wc_add_notice( __( 'shipping was not chosen', 'woocommerce' ), 'error' );
             return;
         }

3. re-save it.

It should be fine now.

Thank you for Sharing Boris 🙂 Good luck

That is the safest way to do trade specially when your marketplace is open to different countries and you get many sellers on board from different countries. Because, If you allow more than 1 seller items per transaction then who will take responsibility for refund/chargeback?

Note here: only 1 person can be primary seller who will be responsible for refunds and chargeback.

So, basically Paypal adaptive payment solution is not suitable for large range marketplace, it is great for small community base marketplace.

By restricting to 1 seller items (customers can buy as many items as they want from 1 seller) here you (as admin) will be safe. Cause, this way seller will be primary receiver who will be responsible for any refund/chargeback.
Now imagine, if you allow more than 1 seller, then for seller 2 seller 1 and you may be in trouble! This is what actually happened to couple of customers.

Thank you.

@All – please create your own topic with issue separately. As, this topic marked as SOLVED, support team will not get new notifications.

Sorry for late response Kelechi.

Answers are:

1. You are using Dokan plugin with 3rd party theme, right? Then you have to adjust CSS styling to fit it right.

2. You have to consider 3rd party plugin. Dokan don’t have any buil-in option for this. 2 plugins:
https://wphive.com/plugins/redirect-after-login/

Plugin Report

Note: Sellers/Vendors user role is “Seller”

3. You mean Menu link? Again, if you don’t have much coding experience then consider to use 3rd party plugin.

https://wpfront.com/user-role-editor-pro/ (pro version)

4. Not sure what did you mean by that. Can you please elaborate more?

5. Again CSS issue. You have to edit styling.

6. Sorry, currently not possible.
